Rich in mineral resources and potential, Chagai holds opportunities to transform Balochistan and Pakistan. Yet local communities still face poverty, malnutrition, and limited access to education, healthcare and livelihoods.

Schools that serve as community hubs

With the Balochistan Education Foundation, the School Education Department (Government of Balochistan), Charity Right and Sehat Kahani, six schools now combine gamified digital learning, specialised nutrition and regular health monitoring.

A rainwater dam for villages

A small rainwater dam met the water needs of drilling operations for two months and proved extremely useful to surrounding villages. It will, Insha Allah, improve soil water levels.

Green initiatives

Safe drinking water, rainwater preservation and plantation drives support healthier, sustainable communities. 50 fruit trees, including date palms, olives and pomegranates, have been planted at site, alongside a 10,000 litres/day RO plant for local use.
